Bloody Martini Cocktail Mocktail

This recipe was inspired by Sandra Lee's Semi-Homemade show.

Make a simple syrup (see recipe on the next post.)

Mix the syrup with red food coloring and cinnamon or mint extract or grenadine or maraschino cherry juice, depending on the flavor of your cocktail.

Pour a bit of the simple syrup 1/4 inch thick in a saucer. Take your cocktail glasses (martini, highball, etc.) and dip the rim into the syrup.

Awesome! It will slightly drip down the box. Bloody!

Make a simple syrup: Boil one cup water, stir in sugar until it is dissolved.
